Modena Massingill Jameson, 91, formerly of Park Street, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Countryside Village.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late John King and Vesta Kay Massingill, Mrs. Jameson retired from the Elljean Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by two brothers, Ray Massingill and Ronnie Massingill; and by four sisters, Vera Hill, Eva Tinsley, Ollie Cater and Robah Wilson.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 Am Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 10:45 AM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Piedmont Hospice, 1865 East Main Street, Suite F, Duncan, SC 29334.
The family is at the home of a nephew, Wayne Wilson, 109 Pinewood Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
