Montez King Bishop, 89, of Easley, and wife of the late William "Bill" Anderson Bishop, went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 25, 2014 at McCall Hospice House.
Mrs. Bishop was born in Pickens County, SC, the daughter of the late Walter Leo and Juanita Smith King. She was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville.
Surviving are four sons, Dock P. Bishop (Grady Lou), of Easley, Jimmy S. Bishop, Terry P. Bishop (Pat) and Donnie Bishop (Debi), all of Greenville; a brother, W. Edwin King, of Liberty; a sister, Martha K. Daniels; 8 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Randy L. Bishop and William Dale Bishop.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Dock and Grady Lou Bishop, 805 Olive Street, Easley, SC.
