Myrlon Smith Shockley, 88, of 102 Heatherly Drive, went to be with the Lord Saturday May 10, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Shockley was born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Reid and Genora Waldrop Smith. She was a former employee of Stone Mfg. Company and a member of Tremont Church of God.

Surviving are three sons, Charles Shockley and his wife, Lucille, of Powdersville, Roy Eugene Shockley and James Darrell Shockley and his wife, Wanda, all of Greenville ; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 6 great, great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Cicero Shockley, Jr., a daughter, Judy Carol Eddleman, and a grandson, Steven James Shockley.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Tim Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.

The family is at the residence and will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
