Myrtis Camp Tate, 70, of 245-B Hood Road, died Sunday, December 3, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Toccoa, GA, a daughter of the late Mary Camp, Mrs. Tate retired as a private duty nurse and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Floyd Tate of the home; a son, Jeffery Tate and his wife, Lynn, of Easley; a daughter Kathy T. Ladson of Duncan; five grandchildren, Daniel, Will and Marissa Tate and Karmen Smith and Stephine Ladson; and a great granddaughter, Kierstin Smith. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Tate was predeceased by a daughter, Patti Lynn Tate and by a sister, Mildred Barr.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, Easley, with Rev. Joel Jenkins and Rev. Dave Storay officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
