Myrtle Louise Thompson, 84, widow of Ervin Lee Thompson, of 525 Hunt's Bridge Road, Lot 14, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Spartanburg, SC and was the daughter of the late Eli and Arella Wilson Henderson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Joe Thompson of Morristown, Tennesse, Jimmy Ray Thompson of Easley and Tommy Thompson of Greenville; six daughters, Betty Henson of Easley, Mary Taylor of Orangeburg, Gloria Ann Gilreath of Boiling Springs, Brenda Wood of Nesses, and Kathy Thompson and Tammy Head of Greenville; 44 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Albert Thompson and a daughter, Doris Wardlaw.
Private memorial services will be Friday, June 27, 2008 , 2:00pm at Maranatha Baptist Church, Pickens, SC, with Rev. Charlie Bishop Officiating.
