Nan Jacqueline Brown Elrod

Nan Jacqueline Brown Elrod, 89, wife of the late Lafayette George Elrod, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Born in Carlton, GA, a daughter of the late John Wiley Brown and the late Willie Ruth Anderson Brown, she was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Mrs. Elrod volunteered for the American Legion, Unit 3, Children and Youth Division and she retired as a realtor for Knight, Inc. in Greenville after many years of service. She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Greenville.

Survivors include a son, George Anthony Elrod (Laurie) of Piedmont; a daughter, Angela Theresa Elrod of Piedmont; and grandchildren, Alexis Elrod Waldrop (Eric) of El Paso, TX and Logan Elrod of Rock Hill, SC.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, John "Buddy" Leon Brown; and sisters, Sue Katherine Brown Smith and Doris Ruth Brown Duckworth.

A private cryptside service will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
