Mrs. Nancy Louise Young Chandler, 81, wife of the late William Ira Chandler, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late James and Eunice Turner Young, Mrs. Chandler was a homemaker and a member of Slabtown Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, William L. "Junior" Chandler (Lillie Mae) of Liberty, Terry Wayne Chandler of Piedmont, and Roger Dale Chandler (Lisa Ann) of Liberty; three daughters, Brenda Diane Hammond (Kenny) of Liberty; Jackie Holbrooks of Easley, and Sarina Hope Watt (Randy) of Piedmont; two sisters, Margie West and Patricia Nell Batson, both of Easley; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Chandler was predeceased by a son, Randy Earl Chandler; a daughter, Donna Gaye Chandler; two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Diane and Kenny Hammond.
