Nancy Virginia Townley Chapman, 74, of 410 St. Paul Road, wife of the late Kenneth Hamilton Chapman, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital - Downtown.
Mrs. Chapman was born in Brevard, NC, a daughter of the late Herschel and Virginia Cansler Townley. She retired from Platt Saco-Lowell and attended Saint Paul United Methodist Church. She loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, Eddie Chapman and his wife, Tammy, of Easley; a daughter, Sarah C. Roper and her husband, Donnie, of Easley; granddaughters, Crystal Roper, Michelle Officer, Julie Aiken and Jolie Gilliland; grandsons, Jimmy Chapman, Daniel Roper, Brandon Harvey and 9 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Joe Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Sarah and Donnie Roper, 690 Meadow Ridge Road, Easley.
