Nancy Louise Hardy

Nancy Louise Hardy, 82, of Central, wife to the late Jerry Robert Hardy, passed away December 1, 2023.

Born in Lake City, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Boggs and Ruth Mae James Boggs. Nancy worked in textiles for Dunean Mills and then for BASF, where her and Jerry retired. She loved going to thrift stores, camping, playing bingo, and playing games on her phone. Mrs. Hardy loved her family and she and Jerry were inseparable for the sixty-two years of their marriage.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Diane Robinson of Central, Karen Ruth Duncan of Central, and James Alfred “Al” Hardy and wife Debbie of Liberty; brother, John Anthony Boggs of Central; grandchildren, Meagan Hendricks, Jessie Hardy, Trevor Robinson, Monica Taylor and husband Matt, Zach Duncan and wife Kendra, Evan Duncan and wife Shanna, Jeremy Bigham, and Lindsey McClarin. Nancy is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hardy was predeceased by her husband, parents, and daughter, Linda Hardy Bigham.

The family will receive Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
