Nancy Carol Quarles

Nancy Quarles, 84, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. 

Born in Great Falls, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John and Kate Justice. 

Nancy, born on January 24, 1940, lived a life filled with love, dedication, and hard work. She attended Winthrop College for two years before pursuing further education at the University of Missouri. She later worked on her Master’s degree from Boston College. Her academic journey was a testament to her determination and passion for learning. 

Described by those who knew her as loving, hardworking, genuine and caring. She touched the lives of many. She took immense pride in her work and brought a sense of dedication to every task she undertook in the field of business administration. Throughout her career, she held various positions, each reflecting her commitment and expertise. 

Outside of her professional life, Nancy found joy in her garden and plants. She loved and cared for her cats. She was a devoted member of Welcome Baptist Church. 

She is survived by her two sons, Michael A. Wade (Elizabeth) and Jeffery A. Wade; a stepson Patrick D. Quarles (Stephanie); a step daughter, Katherine Lea Quarles; and four grandchildren, Cody A. Wade, Nicklas A. Wade, Jordan M. Wade, and Connor J. Wade. She is predeceased by her brother, John R. Justice. 

The family receive friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel. A private burial will be held in Robinson Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 4, 2024. 

Nancy will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, kindness and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
