Nancy P. Reynolds

Nancy Padget Reynolds, 79, of 214 Thomas Street, passed away on October 16, 2008 at Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, after a long battle with cancer.
Born May 23, 1929 in Saluda, she was a daughter of the late Henry Fletcher Padget Sr. and Olive Truluck Padget. She was a graduate of Coker College and was a homemaker. Nancy was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church for 49 years and participated in many functions of the church. Nancy's life was typified by kindness, grace, and a willingness to help others. Her wonderful smile and genuine friendliness endeared her to many friends as well as strangers.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mitch Reynolds of the home; two daughters, Susan Reynolds of Seneca, Ruth Nuckols and husband Jim of Woodruff; five grandchildren, Sara, Mitch, Nick, Lindsay, Phillip; and a sister, Jean Miller of Columbia. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Anne Reynolds Gamber and a brother, Fletcher Padget, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, October 20, 2008 at Clemson United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
