Nancy Lynn Shipman White, 56, of Easley, went to be with the Lord Saturday March 7, 2009.
Mrs. White was born in Easley, a daughter of Sarah Tripp Brown, of Easley and the late Theodore Eugene Shipman. She was an employee of St. Jude Medical Incorporated and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and also Rock Springs Baptist Church. She was a great Mother and Sister and loved all of her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Barry White, Sr., of the home ; sons, Jesse White, Jr., of Piedmont and Shawn C. White, of Easley ; a brother, Ted Shipman, of Augusta, Georgia ; sisters, Elizabeth Putman and her husband, Robert, of Easley and Sue VanZeeland and her husband, Frans, of Kansas City, Kansas.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry M. Shipman ; her step-father, James William Brown and her maternal grandmother, Dot Tripp.
Funeral Services will be 3:30 pm Sunday March 22, 2009 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road with the Reverend Dr. Jim Spencer and Reverend Mike Cox officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her mother, Sarah T. Brown, 703 Zion School Road, Easley.
Memorials may be made to St.Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
