Nannie Speas

Nan Speas, age 94, of Liberty, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends singing her favorite hymns on Friday, May 10, 2024.
She was born on April 29, 1930 to Thurston and Leila Dailey Segers. She was a member of Pickens View Wesleyan Church. She loved quilting and sewing, gardening and flowers, leading Bible study, and crafts.
Nan is survived by her sons, Bill Groce (Danette) and Wes Groce; her daughters, Becky Keefe and Joy Edmunds (Dan); her stepsons, Glenn Speas (Joanne) and Dr. Philip Speas (Wanda); five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren and sixteen step-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Reverend W. Wilbur Groce; her second husband, Eldon Speas; her grandson, Rob Edmunds; and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Groce.
Visitation will be held at Pickens View Wesleyan Church on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, at 1:00 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM.
Burial will take place in the Bethel Wesleyan Church Cemetery on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
