Nannie G. Williams

Nannie Griffin Williams, 98, of 678 Lenhardt Road, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Laurel Hill Living Center.
Born in Belton, the daughter of the late Robert Terry and Ella Ragsdale Griffin, Mrs. Williams attended North Greenville College and was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley, where she formerly was teacher of the Fidelis Sunday School Class and was a member of the W.M.U.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Janet Williams, of Easley; her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Kirk Williams, of Easley; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Elliot Williams.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of First Baptist Church, Easley, with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. in the church narthex, prior to the service.
The Escort of Honor for the service will be members of the Fidelis Sunday School Class.
