Naomi Elizabeth Jenkins, 80, of 404 Donelda Lane, Rockford, IL, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at the home of her daughter Mary Frye in Easley, SC.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Tyronza, Arkansas and was a daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lillie Hogan Collins. She was retired from National Detroit after 42 years of service and was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Rockford.
Mrs. Jenkins is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Tucker of Rockford, IL and Mary A. Frye of Easley, SC; two sons, Ronald Jenkins of Decatur AL and James R. Jenkins of Crystal Beach, FL; two brothers, Calvin Collins of Machesney Park, IL and Roy Max Collins of MO; eleven grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jenkins was predeceased by her husband James C. Jenkins, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Berean Baptist Church in Rockford, IL, with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery..
The family will receive friends at Delahanty Funeral Home, 401 River Lane, Loves Park, IL on Thursday, June 17, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
