Naomi Kathryn Armistead Berscheid, 103, formerly of Fairfield AL, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC.
Born on January 11, 1914 in Cumberland City, TN, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Kate Dunbar Armistead.
Mrs. Berscheid was a graduate of Massey Business College in Birmingham and retired as a school secretary. Following retirement, she enjoyed being a homemaker, sewing, crocheting and playing the organ. She was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Paul Berscheid and a son, Paul Armistead Berscheid.
Surviving are a niece, Linda Roper and her husband, Dr. Ted Roper of Greenville and several other and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM Central Time in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made Rolling Green Village, 1 Hoke Smith Blvd., Greenville, SC 29615.
