Frances Naomi Weaver Tinsley, 85, of 119 Tinsley Dr., Easley, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 23, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Marcus LaFayette and Bessie Dodgens Weaver. Mrs. Tinsley was married to the late Henry Ellison Tinsley and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Tinsley was retired from East End Elementary School after 42 years of service as the lunchroom supervisor. Mrs. Tinsley was preceded in death by sons, Donald Ellison and Jerry Weaver Tinsley; brothers, Milton and Derrill Weaver; and a sister, Lucille Weaver Hollis.
Survivors include: sons, Michael Ray Tinsley and his wife Toni of Easley, and Terry Wyatt Tinsley of Easley; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel - Downtown, burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 - 8:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at her home, 119 Tinsley Drive, Easley, SC.
