Mrs. Nell Gantt Carman, 83, wife of the late Edward Domer Carman, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2010 at her home.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Eudie Spencer and Marie Finley Gantt, Mrs. Carman was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Easley.

Surviving are three sons, Michael Edward Carman (Linda) of Easley, Robert Alan Carman (Libby) of Greenville, and Gregory Fred Carman of Easley; three brothers, Billy Joe Gantt, Larry Emmett Gantt, and Charles Kenneth Gantt, all of Liberty; one sister, Martha Gantt Holden of Liberty; three grandchildren, Tracy Carman Clifton (Scott) of Greenwood, Robert Edward Carman (Allison) of Greer, and Mary Elizabeth Carman of Charleston; two great-grandchildren, Connor Scott Clifton and Cameron Michael Clifton. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Carman was predeceased by one brother, Ed Gantt and two sisters, Geneva Gantt Allamon and Mary Sue Gantt McJunkin.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in Hillcrest Memorial Park, with the Rev. Jim Correll officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.

The family members are at their respective homes.
