Nell Johnson Livingston, 89, formerly of The Willows, died Thursday March 6, 2008 at Hospice House of Anderson.
Mrs. Livingston was born in Kinards, SC in Newberry County, a daughter of the late George William Ross and Katie Lillian Dreher Johnson. She retired from Hollis Elementary School in the School District of Greenville County and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Easley.
Surviving are two sons, Tim Livingston, of Easley and Heath Livingston and his wife, Jo, of Galatin, Tennessee ; a daughter, Elaine Bassett and her husband, Rick, of Easley ; a brother, Mayer L. Johnson, of Columbia ; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Jesse Livingston.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at First United Methodist Church, conducted by the Reverend Jim Correll and the Reverend Ben Barnett. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry.
The family is at the home of her daughter, 115 Hillcrest Circle, Easley, and will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday at the church, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 115 West 1st Avenue, Easley, SC 29640 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1821 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
