Nell Seawright Reeves, 100, wife of the late John S. Reeves, Sr, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.

Mrs. Reeves was born in Pendleton and was a daughter of the late Robert Clayton Seawright and Wilma Newton Seawright, and step daughter of the late Decie Newton Seawright.She taught school for many years and was a member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, John S. Reeves, Jr, (Nancye) of Seneca and William M. Reeves (Karen) of Greer; four daughters, Jean Ostrom of Pendleton, Dr. Sandra Reeves of Mountain Rest, Rev. Bobbie Ethridge and Pat Morgan (Phillip) both of Pendleton; one sister, Martha Wilma Seawright of Pendleton; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Seawright Orr.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2016, at Pendleton Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pendleton Presbyterian Church, P O Box 573, Pendleton, SC  29670.
