Nelle Stone Robinson, 91, wife of the late W. Louie Robinson, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late John B. and Cora Mullikin Stone. A graduate of Melton High School, she was retired from the Pickens County School System, having worked in the lunch room at Getty's Middle School. She was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church and the Melissa Sunday School Class and the Young at Heart. She was a loving and caring mother who loved her only son dearly.
Surviving are a son, Danny L. Robinson and wife Judy of Easley; a brother, Ray Stone of Tampa, FL; a special niece, Joretta Rampey and husband Harold; and her caregivers, who took very good care of her, Beulah Holcombe and Nancy Hayes.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Rev. Dr. Marshall Sargent, Rev. Dr. Bobby Caldwell, and Rev. Wayne Garmon officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home.
