Nellie Brooks Abercrombie, 83, wife of the late RC Abercrombie passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late George and Maggie Morgan Brooks, Mrs. Abercrombie retired from Summit Health Care and was a member of Poe Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Mike Posey (Nancy), and Doug Posey (Annie); three daughters, Diane White (Roy), Brenda Harris (Randall), and Bobbie Harris (David); one brother, Ray Brooks, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Abercrombie was predeceased by her first husband, Shelton Posey; a son Rickey Posey; four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown
