Nellie Sue Boggs, 82, wife of the late Billy John Boggs, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Olin and Elizabeth Ellenburg Smith.

Mrs. Boggs was a homemaker and member of Northside Baptist Church in Pickens. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed cooking, gardening, growing flowers and cutting her grass.

Surviving are her children, Kay Boggs Cole (Jimmy), Sheila Garrison (Barry) and Carolyn Horn all of Easley; grandchildren, Steve Crenshaw (Alicia), Mandy Durham (Steven), and John Horn (Amanda); great grandchildren, Gracie Nell Crenshaw, MaddieAnn Crenshaw, Jordan Carter, Eli Horn, Ethan Horn and Easton Horn and Christian Durham; and a great-great granddaughter, Madison Claire Durham.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Buford Horn.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the caregivers and Dr. Calvin Snipes and his staff for the compassionate care and support shown to Mrs. Boggs' during her illness.

Funeral services will held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Saturday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 301 University Ridge # 5850, Greenville, SC 29601.

The family, on Friday and Saturday, will be at the home of Mandy and Steven Durham, 900 Saluda Lake Road, Greenville, SC 29611.
