Mrs. Nellie Mae Hester Turner, 69, wife of the late Furman Butler Turner, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at her home.
Born in Oconee County, a daughter of the late Clayton Hampton and Sally Todd Hester, Mrs. Turner retired from textiles and was a member of New Harvest Church of God.
Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Morton and Patricia "Trish" Young, both of Easley; one step-son, Larry Turner of NC; two brothers, Johnny V. Hester of Easley, and William Charlie Hester of Pickens; two sisters, Louise Granger of Easley, and Barbara Ann Arnold of Pickens; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
