Nellie Hoard Walker, 80, of Greenville passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Newberry County, Mrs. Walker was a daughter of the late Luther Hoard and Emma Swift Hoard Lackey. She retired from Union Carbide and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Rhonda Little; two sons Brent and Blake Walker; three grandchildren, Crystal Wiles, Camron and Michelle Walker; three great-grandchildren Kenley, Liam and Norah Walker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was predeceased by a brother, Edward Hoard; three sisters, Gladys Kelly, Vivian Wallace and Marie McCue.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
