Noel Edward Jones

Mr. Noel Edward Jones, 81, husband of Brenda Stegall Jones and the late Carolyn Kirby Jones, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Born in Flat Rock, NC, a son of the late Duer William Jones and the late Agnes Geneva Hoots Jones, Mr. Jones was a retired truck driver with U.S. Foods and was a US Navy Veteran.

Noel was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He loved the outdoors and listening to music, but his greatest love was his everyday morning visits to the Waffle House with family and friends. 

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his step-son, Reuben Stegall of Easley; his step-daughter, Angie Stegall of Easley; a brother, Vincent Jones of Hendersonville, NC; his sister-in-law, Elaine Tabor (Kenneth) of Hendersonville, NC; his step-granddaughter, Michaela Goggins; and his step-great-granddaughter, Inza April Rose Goggins. In addition to his first wife and parents, Mr. Jones was predeceased by nine brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be 12:00 PM Monday, February 10, 2025 at Wood Memorial Gardens, Greer, SC.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
