Nora Beth Brown (McDowell) Ellliott, 91, of 227 Brown Road and wife of Clarence Ray Elliott died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 due to injuries sustained in automobile accident.
Born in Anderson County she was a daughter of the late Claude and Eloise Shockley Brown. She was a retired office manager at the former Duke Power office in Pendleton and a member of First Baptist Church of Pendleton.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a step-daughter, Debra Simpson (Stanley) of Seneca; sisters, Alice Hardy (William) of Abbeville, Patsy Hagood (Roy) of Anderson, Dot B. Earle of Florida, and Carolyn Dalton of Pendleton.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by husbands, Curtis Wilson and Carly McDowell; brother, Charles P. Brown; and sister, Sarah Boyenga.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 PM following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to the charity of one's choice.
