Norma Glenda "Tracy" Simmons

Norma Glenda "Tracy" Robbins Simmons, 83, wife of Don S. Simmons, of Easley, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Born in Sandy Mush, NC, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Hamrick Robbins.

After graduating from Greenville General Hospital School of Nursing in 1961, she started her career as an RN at several medical facilities; including Blue Ridge Nursing Center, Alta Vista Nursing Center,  Pickens County Health Department and Family Planning Program at PCHD, from which she retired. After retirement, she volunteered with Samaritan's Purse. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her loving husband of almost 60 years, Mrs. Simmons is survived by a son, Stuart Simmons (Amy) of Dacusville; a daughter, Robin S. Heater (Michael) of Greer; a brother, Alvin Robbins of Clover; grandchildren, Don Simmons, III, Elizabeth Simmons, and Griffin Heater; a great-grandchild, Parker Malloy Simmons; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, A.W. Robbins; and sisters, Mary Sue Price, Jean Hines, and Martha Ray Hooper.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
