Norman Eugene Apsey

Norman Eugene Apsey, 93, husband of the late Imogene Morgan Apsey, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Born on June 13, 1931 in Mt. Morris, Michigan, He was a son of the late Walter and Mena Ruth Randal Apsey. 

A proud veteran, Norman served in the United States Army for 11 years before joining the Marine Corps in 1961, completing an additional six years of service. 

Beyond his military service, Norman was known for his love of puzzles, often having one meticulously arranged on his table. He had a passion for wood carving, enjoyed playing Yahtzee with his family, and was an avid reader, especially his Bible. Above all, Norman cherished the time spent with his family and grandkids, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Norman's life will be honored with a visitation on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Duckett - Robinson Funeral Home, located at 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, South Carolina 29630.

 A funeral service will take place the following day, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 3041 Six Mile Hwy, Central, South Carolina 29630 with Rev. Jonathan McGary officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Lollis, Glen Williams, Timothy Richardson, Randy Richardson, Blake Gilstrap, and Jonathan Bryant.
