NORMAN A. PEARSON - Clemson
Norman Andrew Pearson, 82, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at Seneca Health and Rehab. He was a native of Massachusetts and the son of the late John and Esther Stein Pearson.
He was a former resident of Miramar, Florida. He retired from Delta Airlines and was a WWII veteran. He was a loving father and grandfather who was known to his family as "Poppy."
He is survived by a daughter, Denise Dull and husband, Kevin, of Clemson; two sisters, Geraldine O'Connell and Shirley Small both of Massachusetts; and two grandchildren, Bailey Savannah and Dakota Ashleigh.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Davis Pearson; brother, Chester Pearson; and a sister, Virginia Brydon.
A memorial service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at East Clemson Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to East Clemson Baptist Church, 130 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
