Norman E. Watson, 79, of 111 Tanglewood Road, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Richard Campbell Veterans Center.

Born in N.C., a son of the late Bynum and Celia Brown Watson, Mr. Watson retired from Saco Lowell and was a member of Tanglewood Penecostal Church.

Surviving are his wife, Annie Perry Watson, of the home; a son, Richard Watson of Townville; a daughter, Karen Garrett of Greenville; a brother, Milford Watson of Easley; two sisters, Ressie Bowen of Easley and Mildred Smith of Jefferson G.A.; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. In addtion to his parents Mr. Watson was predeceased by a son, Glenn Watson; a brother, Cleo Watson and a sister, Carmen Watson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Danny Perry officiating. Burial will follow Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
