Norman B. (N.B.) Williams Jr., 80, of 705 Cherokee Trail, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.

He was born, raised and had lived his entire life in the Dacusville Community of Pickens County. He was a son of the late Norman B. Sr. and Kate Lathem Williams. He was a graduate of Dacusville High School and was a retired farmer, dairyman, merchant and owner of Arrowhead Arena. He was also a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was a former deacon. He was a Mason, a Shriner and was devoted to and loved his family, his community and his friends.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Betty Boggs Williams of the home; two sons, Craig Williams and his wife Donna and Randy Williams and his wife Kim; a brother, Wayne Williams of Dacusville; a sister, Dorothy Jameson of Dacusville; five grandchildren, Lisa, Amanda, Angela, Tara and Jake; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters, Vonnie W. Couch, Ola Faye Williams and Kathryn Jameson.

Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2009, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at his parents' family homeplace at 2535 Earls Bridge Road, Dacusville, from 6:00 p.m. until 8;00 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009.
