Oler Smith Miller, 94, wife of the late Dee Miller, of 681 East Preston McDaniel Road, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Transylvania County, NC, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Ida Morton Smith. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are two sons, J.D. Miller of Piedmont, B.F. Miller of Six Mile; three daughters, Ella Mae Bryce, Eloise Grant, Vera Wood, all of Pickens; two step-daughters, Ruby A. Lusk, Emily Fisher, both of Walhalla; a sister, Defie Mosley of Six Mile; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, D.L. Miller; a step-son, Charles Miller; and a step-daughter, Helen Galloway.
Graveside services will be 4:00 PM Saturday at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Roger Todd officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 2:30 until 3:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Eloise Grant; 852 Meece Mill Road; Pickens, SC 29671.
