Olin “Lin” Stephen Bradley, 39, of Piedmont, South Carolina, loving husband of LeeAnna Williams Bradley, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 22, 1984, in Raleigh, North Carolina, a son of Randy and Karen Clayton Bradley. Lin's life was characterized by his selflessness and unwavering faith in the Lord. Having obtained his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Lin dedicated his life to mentoring others in their Christian faith. He was a compassionate individual who always prioritized the needs of others above his own. His acts of kindness were evident in the way he tirelessly prayed for everyone and constantly provided support to those around him. Lin's commitment to his faith led him to serve in the US Army for 11 years as a military police officer, drill sergeant, and chaplain. During his military service, he provided spiritual guidance and comfort to fellow soldiers while carrying out his duties with integrity and compassion. In addition to his spiritual pursuits, Lin also found joy in being a devoted and caring husband. Every morning at 4:00 AM, he would rise early to study in God’s Word and prepare a cup of coffee for his beloved wife. His devotion and love set a remarkable example for their children as they watched their father prioritize and cherish their mother. Beyond being an attentive husband, Lin was an exceptional father who served as an admirable role model for his children. He instilled values of kindness, empathy, and unwavering faith within them. His love for reading not only enriched his own life but also inspired his children to become curious learners.
In addition to his wife of 15 years and parents, he is survived by three children, Micah, Levi, and Judson Bradley; two brothers, Clayton Bradley (Katherine) and Phil Bradley (Beth); his father-in-law, Kent Williams; and his mother-in-law, Nancy Gibson (Bentley).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM at Mt. Airy Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Church Sanctuary. A private burial will be held at a later date at MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The International Mission Board, www.imb.org.
