Ollie Mae Grant

Ollie Mae Grant, 81, of Central, wife to David F. Grant, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024.

Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late William H. Barrett and Blanch Smith Barrett. Mrs. Grant worked in textiles most of her working career. She enjoyed being with her family and working in her flower garden. Ollie Mae was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and attended Fairview Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, David F. Grant; son, Gary Grant of Central; granddaughter, Kansas Grant; great-grandchildren, Izaak Grant and Ariana Grant; great-great-grandson, Angelo Grant; sister, Catherine Moody; brothers, John Barrett, George Barrett, and Roy Barrett.

Ollie Mae is predeceased by her parents, sons, Michael Grant and Donnie Grant; sisters, Mary Barrett and Betty Sue Barrett.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery.
