Orville Rice, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Corpus Christi.
He was a son of Robert L. Rice of Greenville and the late Mary Aileen Sweet Rice. Orville was a millwright by trade, but worked for many years with the Roloff Evangelistic Ministry in Corpus Christi. He loved his children and animals. He played guitar and sang with his brothers. Orville served God to the best of his ability.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are his children, Erica Esteo of Knoxville, TN, David Rice, April Shaheed, Amber Cook, Leslie Rice and Lauren Rice, all of Victoria, TX; his twin brother, Oliver Rice (Sherry) of Corpus Christi; a sister, Debbie Rice of Greenville; grand-children, Ryder, Johanna, Ethan, Luke and Brandon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a brother, Parker Lee Rice.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Westview Cemetery, Easley.
