Otis (Roy)al Eidson, 75, of 202 Ravenwood Circle, went to be with the Lord Friday July 10, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was a caring and devoted husband and father. EVERYONE CALLS HIM "BOP".

Mr. Eidson was born in Aiken, SC, a son of the late Winston and Mary Dyar Eidson Sasser. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a lifelong truck driver and retired from Vanguard. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his wife, Marion Leonhardt Eidson, of the home ; two sons, Tony Eidson and his wife Denise,of Concord, N.C. and Pat Eidson and his wife Susan, of Summerville, SC ; daughters, Ann Edney and her husband David, of Piedmont, SC and Beth Weeks and her husband Brad, of Greenville, SC ; grandsons and their wives, Keith Edney (Lori), Tal Eidson (fiance - Macaire), Chad Posey, Chuck Eidson (Samantha), Nick Posey (Noel), Bryan Edney (Sharon) and Trey Eidson ; a granddaughter and her husband, Melissa Eidson Arena (Charles); great-grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Tre, Tate, Caroline, Maddie, Tripp, Chance and Calli ; a caring aunt and uncle, Harry and Dolly Barker, of Pelzer, SC ; sister, Martha Naimoli, of Sicklerville, N.J. ; and a brother, James E. Sasser, of Clinton, SC.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.
