Mrs. Pamela Jo "Pam" Wells Smith, 61, of 102 S. Clearstone Court, Easley, loving wife of Tommy Ray Smith, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at MUSC in Charleston.


Pam was born in Ada, Oklahoma on September 19, 1954 to the late Billy Amon Wells and Harriet Pridmore Wells. She received her Master's Degree in Teaching, and worked in the Greenville County School System for over 30 years. Pam taught at Woodmont Middle School and was known as the "nice" teacher in the school. Even after retirement, she gave back to the school and had recently completed a memorial for one of her fellow teachers. She loved her career, and always wanted to make a difference in the children's lives. She was remembered fondly by all of her students. Pam loved her family and all of her friends, was very kind, giving, and humble, and she was of the Methodist faith.


In addition to her loving husband, Pam is survived by two brothers; Phillip Wells of Clemson, and Chris Wells (Deb), of Newberry, SC; a sister; Vicki Wells of Easley; a special niece; Heather Knecht (Andrew), of Easley; and a special nephew; William Ols of Powdersville.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Interment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.


The family will receive friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. 


The family is at the residence.


Flowers are optional, or the family asks that memorial donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
