Pat Withrow Chapman, 82, formerly of Easley, died Wednesday April 11, 2007 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Samuel Carodyne and Ophelia Pittman Chapman. Mr. Chapman was a watch maker at Tinsley Jewelers in Easley for many years and retired from Diamond Jewelers in Spartanburg. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II and a member of the Odd Fellows and Park Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Doris Johnson Chapman, of Spartanburg ; a son, Lee Chapman, of Mauldin ; a daughter, Jeannie Dunn, of Charlotte, NC ; two grandchildren, Cristy Moser and J.P. Chapman and two great-grandchildren, Ansley Moser and Kylee Moser.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind, 355 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
