Patricia Chandler Culclasure

July 9, 1934 — April 2, 2026

Anderson, SC

Patricia Chandler Culclasure, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. Born on July 9, 1934, Pat lived a life marked by love, dedication, and warmth that touched everyone who knew her.

Patricia’s journey was one of commitment both to her family and her passions. She earned a Bachelor's degree in nursing and applied her skills at Greenville General, where she cared for many in their time of need. Yet, her true calling was always being a wife and mother at home, a role she cherished deeply. She met her husband, Jerry Culclasure, in Pelzer, and after a whirlwind courtship, they married before his deployment to the Korean War. Their marriage blossomed into 57 joyful years together, filled with devotion and unwavering partnership.

At the heart of Pat’s happiness was her family. She and Jerry raised three wonderful daughters, whom she loved dearly and supported with all her heart. Every day, she prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner, often serving Jerry a steadfastly punctual dinner at 6:00 p.m., after his long hours managing the mills. Her home was a sanctuary, lovingly maintained, reflecting the pride she took in her family’s well-being. Pat’s grandkids affectionately called her “Mimi,” and it was with immense pride that she became a great-great-grandmother, an accomplishment she held dear and one not shared by many.

Beyond her family, Pat had a vibrant life enriched by her interests and community. She was an active member of the Questers, a history club where she indulged her love for tales of days gone by. Her gem club was another passion, allowing her to collect rocks and gems, treasures she found as captivating and enduring as the memories she created with those she loved. She enjoyed playing bridge and was skillful in needlepointing, hobbies that showcased her keen mind and steady hands.

Pat is survived by her daughters; Sabrina Culclasure, Sheri Sanders (Marty), Linda Kohl (Eric); her grandchildren, Melissa Pilgrim (Michael), Ryan Sanders (Emily), Stephanie Kohl (Michael), Jessica Kohl, Diana Terry (Dakota), Trenton Pilgrim (Hope), Katie Wallis, Ford Sanders, Grady Sanders, and Harper Sanders; her great-great grandchild Drayton Terry; and a brother, William “Bill” Culclasure.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Chander, and her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Culclasure.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow immediately afterward at the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Pat was a beacon of positivity, radiating warmth and affection to everyone around her. Her love for people and genuine spirit made her company a comfort and her presence a blessing. Those who knew Pat remember her not just for her many talents but for her open heart and loving nature.
