Patricia Knippel Geske, 86, of Easley, wife of Lyle Geske, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 12, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Born July 3, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marion Richter Estes. She was a graduate of Marquette University and was a homemaker. She loved her family, traveling, and reading.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, John Knippel (Teresa), Deby Farrell, Barbara Gawlas (Marty), Kathy Roberts (Steve) and Patti Shoemaker (Michael); step-son Douglas Geske; grandchildren, Jeremy Roberts, Johnny Knippel, Melissa Faetz, Nicholas Shoemaker and Meghan Gawlas; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Braxton, Patrick, and Dominic: honorary daughter, Latonya Fletcher; and her beloved dog Angel.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband of fifty-two years, John A. Knippel, Sr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
