Patricia Gibbon, 79, of 150 Downs Blvd, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Self Regional Medical Center, Greenwood, SC.
She was born in Minneapolis, MN, to the late Joseph Dillard and Rachel Russ Gibbon. Ms. Gibbon, formerly Pat Murdoch, was an artist and a former reporter for The Daily Local News in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Surviving are a son,Lawrence Corlies Murdoch(Jan) of Clemson; one daughter, Anne Sutton(Steve) of New Jersey; and three granddaughters, Maddie, Caroline, and Libby. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Ginther.
