Patricia J. "Winkey" Cantrell

Patricia J. “Winkey” Cantrell, 81, of Westminster, wife to Forrest W. “Skip” Cantrell, passed away September 30, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Carl James and Hazel Kay James. Winkey graduated from D.W. Daniel High School and worked as the office manager at the family business, Cantrell Automotive in Anderson. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing with the A Squares.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest W. “Skip” Cantrell; children, Rick Cantrell and Dena Douglas. Winkey is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her parents; son, Russell “Rusty” Cantrell; brother, Larry James.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, October 2, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central, SC.
