Patricia Haynes Owens, 66, wife of Jim R. Owens, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Owens was born in Pickens, and was a daughter of the late Ben J. and Eula Craine Haynes.  She was a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University and had a masters degree from Clemson University.  She was retired from Liberty Elementary School as a teacher and was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church.  She loved to crochet and was a minister of encouragement.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are a son, James B. Owens of the home and a daughter, Ruth Owens and her fiancé Matthew Beauvais of Manassas, VA; eight brothers, Olice, Wallace, Ralph, Joe, Lee, Timothy, Allen, and Ray Haynes, and four sisters, Carolyn, Margaret, Nancy and Brenda; one grandson, Matthew Beauvais, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Wesleyan Church with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.

The family will receive friends, on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
