Patricia Waring Rice, of 112 Rockmont Road, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Frank and Gladys R. Waring, Mrs. Rice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Tommy Rice of the home; a son, Gary Gibson (Wanda) of Easley; a daughter, Lynn Causey (Richey) of Simpsonville; two sisters, Bobbie Hawkins of York and Martha Garrison (Glenn) of Clemson; grandsons, Kevin Gibson (Andrea) of Easley, Matthew and Michael Causey, both of Simpsonville, and Daniel Elrod of Easley; a granddaughter, Amber Cuddy of Arizona; and four great-granddaughters, Brianna and Ashlyn Gibson, both of Easley and Hannah and Sierra Cuddy, both of Arizona. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rice was predeceased by a son, Harold James Gibson; three brothers, Morton Waring, Paul Waring, and Frank Waring; a sister, Betty Smith; and by a great-granddaughter, Madison Burger.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Dr. Jack Causey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
