Mrs. Patricia Ann Cooper Royston, 68, of Easley, loving wife of the late James Edward Royston, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Royston was born in Chesnee, SC on September 18, 1948 to the late Joseph Haden Cooper and Annie Ezell Cooper Hindman. She grew up in the Judson Community and attended Parker High School in Greenville, SC. She was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church and loved music, especially Elvis Pressley Music, and going to the beach.
Mrs. Royston is survived by two daughters; Marianne McCoig (Rev. Dale), and Jeanette Owens (Toby), both of Easley; two brothers; Haden Cooper of Greenville and Elvis Cooper of Greer; two sisters; Joyce Kennedy of Greenville and Selena Alexander (Harold) of Piedmont; and three grandchildren; Joanie McCoig of Easley, Philip McCoig (Lynsey) of Piedmont, and Sheridan Jones of Piedmont.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Kenneth and Ricky Cooper.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Glenwood Baptist Church, 325 Saco Lowell Road Easley, SC 29640. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday prior to the service from 12:00 PM until 1:15 PM at the Church.
The family is at their respective homes.
