Elizabeth Patricia "Pat" King Swaney, 75, widow of John W. Swaney, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at her home.
She was born in Newport, Tennessee a daughter of the late John William and Katherine Beatrice Powell King. Pat was a homemaker and she attended East Clemson Christian Fellowship. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Donna Edmond (George) of Pendleton, Lori Gaines (Don) of Liberty, Patty Pruitt (Lloyd) and Julie Vanadore (Dwain) both of Pendleton; sister Beverly Ramsey (LLoyd) of Rutherfordton, NC; step sister, Joann McAbee of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren, John Atkinson, J.R. Barnes, David Chastain, Jr, George Edmond, Jr, Thomas Dwain Vanadore, Elizabeth Brown, Marie Grant, Jessica Bryant, Ruby Brown, Le'Ann Roper, Katherine Vanadore, Shane Roper, Crystal Stein and Xavier Jackson; 30 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was predeceased by a sister, Judy King Hughes; and a grandson, Robert Barnes.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, January 7 at East Clemson Christian Fellowship with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Sunday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
