Patsy Day Robertson

Patsy Day Robertson, of North Augusta, SC, beloved wife of the late Dr. E.G. Robertson, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on July 12, 2025. After living 92 years, she leaves behind a legacy of faith and devotion that will forever be cherished. Born in Easley, SC to the late Zury Yuber Day and the late Lois Jennings Day. Patsy embraced this world with a beautiful spirit that radiated love and kindness to all who crossed her path.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband. For 54 remarkable years, Patsy lovingly served alongside her husband as a pastor's wife. Their shared journey was one of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering support for their faith community. Patsy's role went beyond that of a partner in ministry; she was a beacon of light, offering comfort and guidance to those seeking solace. Her strength forged many friendships, and her laughter filled many gatherings, making her presence a treasured gift.

Though she faced the challenges of dementia as the years passed, Patsy’s heart remained steadfast as she never forgot the love she had for Jesus and her family. It was in those moments that her true resilience shone through, reminding everyone of the boundless love she carried within her. Her adoration for her family was evident, and it was her proudest accomplishment. Patsy cultivated a warm and loving home that served as a sanctuary for her loved ones, a place where laughter, joy, and stories intertwined.

Patsy is survived by her three children; daughter, Sharon Williams (Randy) of Dallas, TX; daughter, Gwen Hoffman of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; son, Rev. Garland Robertson (Kelli) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.; grandchildren, Steven Williams and Shawn Williams (Tania), Noel Auld (Jimbo), Danielle Robertson, adopted grandson, Ralph Hernandez (Dorcas); great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Shane, Syrus and Syrah Williams, James Auld, Wyatt and Walker Glover, William and Annalise Hernandez and brother-in-law, Jimmy Albertson of Easley, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church, US Hwy No.1, Clearwater, SC with Rev. Tad Marshall, Jody Glover and son, Rev. Garland Robertson officiating.

Also, a Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Reflections Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens with a receiving of friends’ prior from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow the service. 

The memories shared with Patsy are a testament to a life well-lived, defined by faith, family, and fierce love. As we celebrate her life, we reflect on the beauty she brought into our world, the kindness she spread, and the enduring impact she made in the lives of many. Patsy Day Robertson will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire us to love and cherish each other in the way she so beautifully demonstrated throughout her life.
