Mr. Paul Willard Niemela, 82, husband of Phyllis Niemela, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014.
Born in Ashland, WI, the son of the late John Peter and Aili Kauppi Niemela, Mr. Niemela retired as an Electrical Design Engineer from Singer/Ryobi and was of the Lutheran faith. He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.
Surviving are two sons, Matthew Niemela of Pickens, and Luke Niemela (Megan) of Piedmont; a sister, Ruth Pass of Sacramento, CA; and two granddaughters, Nikki and Madelyn Niemela.
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
