Paul Edward Phillips, 90, of 207 Pickens Street, died Saturday January 26, 2008 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Easley.
Mr. Phillips was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Sutton and Sadie Cobb Phillips. He was an employee for many years at Alice Manufacturing Company and later retired from Liberty High School as a maintenance worker. He was a member of the Free Wesleyan Church in Easley.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen Nix Phillips, of the home ; two sons, David Phillips of Hendersonville, NC and Rickey Phillips, of Easley ; three daughters, Shirley Robinson,of Hendersonville, NC, Wanda Garner,of Marietta, SC and Mickey Webb,of Easley ; a sister, Lois Chappell, of Easley ; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Phillips.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family is at the residence.
